“After months of highly intensive work on this project, we are thrilled with the results.  Commercial operators will benefit from enhanced location game play and improved earnings, while enthusiasts will appreciate the new sounds, features and effects,” said Gary Stern, Chairman and CEO of Stern Pinball.

The new speech package contains Karl Urban (“Bones”) custom speech calls, and additional Klingon and Admiral Stevens speech from the most recent Star Trek movies.  In total, there are more than 1,200 phrases used in the game, ranging from “Star Fleet Serious” to “Bones-Style” sarcasm.

The advanced color-changing LED system featured in the Premium and Limited Edition versions of Star Trek Pinball get new dazzling in-game LED lightshow effects in this update. “It’s a beautiful thing,” said Steve (“The King”) Ritchie, one of Stern Pinball’s key designers.

The wildly popular Klingon Multiball feature has been newly designed to include a dramatic “Blackout” laser start-up sequence that lets the player know they are scoring big.  Jackpots, Super Jackpots, and Double Jackpots pay out bigger points to make the high speed game play even more exciting.
