24 October 2013 - 11:07

Early indications suggest visitors to the Eag International Expo 2014 are in for a very busy and productive three days following an announcement by organisers which revealed that stand bookings and enquiries are already ahead of the same period last year.

Eag International 2014: planning for travel and accommodation

With the show taking place at ExCel London on 21-23rd January, 2014, organiser Karen Cooke reported a "discernible level of optimism about prospects for the coming year."

Said Karen: "In spite of the challenging business environment EAG International has grown steadily since its inception. We’re very informed about the needs of our exhibitors and it’s our job to deliver the best possible launch to 2014.

“Visitors to EAG International 2014 will experience the latest products from more than 180 represented manufacturers as well as enjoying great peer-to-peer networking opportunities at the many events surrounding the show. A trade show experience should be enjoyable as well as productive and to this end, our team has researched travel and accommodation options. We urge everyone to visit www.eagexpo.com and make their plans as soon as possible,” she advised.

ExCel London is one of Europe’s most accessible exhibition venues, indeed, just a five minute taxi ride from London City Airport, recently voted the UK’s most punctual, and with connections to several European cities.

London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports are also within striking distance, plus visitors arriving from Paris and Brussels can choose the Eurostar rail option arriving at London’s St. Pancras station.

The ExCel campus is served by three stations on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) which in turn, connects to the Jubilee Line on the London Underground. ExCel is within easy reach of the M25, London’s orbital motorway, and the venue’s parking facilities are excellent. For the more adventurous, it’s also possible to travel to ExCel by river bus or you could descend on the show in style by cable car across the River Thames.

For the second year, EAG International has teamed up with Event Express to offer a free hotel booking service, utilising the company's first-hand knowledge of all of the hotels on the ExCel campus and many beyond.

Those using this service will not be required to pay a deposit and will benefit from competitive prices plus a very flexible cancellation policy with none of the hidden catches so often found on hotel booking sites. Event Express also offers an innovative ‘budget matching’ service, so why not give them a try via the EAG International website?
