iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam shortlisted in exhibition industry awards

For the way in which it successfully spearheaded the return of in person events, iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam shortlisted in exhibition industry awards.

Clarion Gaming’s iGB brand has been recognised for the way in which it successfully spearheaded the return of in-person events in the gaming space following confirmation that it has been named as a finalist in the Best International Trade Show category in the 2022 edition of the prestigious Exhibition News Awards. The finals which will see iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam line up against international events from the hospitality, energy and manufacturing sectors, take place 18 March, less than a month ahead of iGB Affiliate London welcoming the international industry to the ExCeL Exhibition Centre (13 -14 April). Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director responsible for the iGB brand is hopeful that the Awards could be the perfect curtain-raiser ahead of the return of iGB Affiliate London. She said: “It is a huge honour for iGB to be shortlisted alongside some really successful and notable events. It is a great credit to the Clarion team, to the team at the RAI Amsterdam and of course to our community of visitors, exhibitors and sponsors who worked so hard and with such energy to deliver what was a record-breaking edition. “The metrics used by the judges highlight exhibitor satisfaction as a key criterion and the post show independent research conducted by Explori placed last autumn’s edition of iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam among the top 10 percent of events benchmarked with visitors, and in the elite top 2 percent for exhibitors. To be shortlisted is a great achievement in itself, and to go any further would represent a perfect run-up to welcoming international visitors to ExCeL in April.” Preparations for iGB Affiliate London continue to progress as Naomi confirmed: “Two months ahead of iGB Affiliate London going live, the show is nearly one third bigger than in 2020 with the latest snap shot confirming a total of 159 exhibitors and sponsors drawn from 29 nations. In physical terms, attendees at April’s event will experience an event occupying three of the exhibition halls at ExCeL – made up by a compelling blend of established names and exhibitors who will be making their debut appearance at iGB Affiliate London.” “Boosted by the UK government’s easing of travel restrictions, we are tracking comfortably ahead of the pre-registration figures for 2020 with a significant upward trend in the number of registrants who are active in the US, a characteristic that reflects the positive market dynamics impacting the affiliate sector in North America where the total addressable revenues for affiliates are forecast to grow by 200% over the next five years. Feedback from the Association of Exhibition Organisers whose members stage in excess of 1,700 events a year, show that returning visitors feel safe and secure as well as demonstrating a high degree of pent-up demand and a desire to do business. All the indicators are pointing towards a highly successful and memorable edition of iGB Affiliate London.” iGB Affiliate London (13–14 April, ExCeL London) connects affiliates to a 360-degree experience of igaming via networking and business lead-generation opportunities, content and learning.
