Gaming & Technology Expo, the fair that marked the return to face-to-face commercial meetings of the gaming industry in Latin America, concluded last week in Cartagena de Indias with a rich academic program, commercial exhibition and a lot of business. THE NUMBERS OF THE ESPORTS CONGRESS – The World eSports Gaming Congress held on August 18 and 19 was attended by 266 participants, 26 speakers and panelists in intense days, developed in strict compliance with biosecurity protocols.

PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES – The balance of visitors by countries indicates that 23 nations were represented at the first fair in person after the mandatory 18-month break. Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Armenia, Russia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Switzerland, Venezuela, Panama, United States, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Philippines, Sweden, Uruguay, Czech Republic, Croatia, Malta and Chile.

THE EXHIBITION AND VISITORS – The registration report shows that 607 people entered the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, in the exhibition areas, both in the San Francisco Esplanade and in the Great Hall Barahona, during the two days of the event.

An absolute novelty was the night exhibition, the design, construction of the stands and lighting by City Group Arquitectura, as well as the logistics of access and capacity controlled through QR codes for each attendee.
