The Regulation & Compliance track at CasinoBeats Malta 2020, the premier online casino conference and exhibition, is to be chaired by Martin Lycka, Director of Regulatory Affairs at GVC Holdings and Trustee of the GVC Foundation.   The second edition of the event takes place at the InterContinental Malta on 24-26 March 2020, with the in-depth look at crucial regulatory issues one of three conference tracks scheduled for Wednesday 25 March.      It features panels examining compliance for affiliates, blockchain and developments in the Swedish, Japanese and US markets, along with a debate titled ‘Compliance - The Enemy of Innovation?’   A strong line-up of expert speakers on the track includes Ewa Kazmierska (COO, LV Bet), Pablo Espuela (COO, Luckia Entertainment), Daniel Valiollahi (Public Affairs Manager Nordics, Kindred Group), Elaine Gardiner (Affiliate Operations Manager, GIG), Ikumi Tanaka (International Country Manager, LeoVegas) and George Rover (Managing Partner, Princeton Global Strategies).   Lycka said: “Chairing the regulation and compliance track will give me a great opportunity to influence and steer the debate on, what I would suggest, is one of the main challenges the industry faces these days, namely a seemingly never ending influx of regulatory change.   “I am looking forward to hearing from the industry experts about how they and their businesses intend to absorb the regulatory changes and challenges of late. I hope that one of the main takeaways will be that the industry can work even better together on finding ever more efficient and pragmatic answers to these questions.”   He added: “It is actually quite fascinating to be part of an industry full of incredible professionals who work tirelessly towards ensuring that we stay on top of everything - you will get an opportunity to meet a number of them at CasinoBeats Malta 2020.”   The CasinoBeats Malta conference agenda features six tracks, including Slots 2020, Payment Expert, Gaming 2020 and Working in Malta, with more than 100 expert speakers sharing their insights on the issues shaping the future of the online casino industry.   The 1,500 delegates, drawn from operators, affiliates, regulators and suppliers, can also enjoy an exhibition, complimentary food and drink throughout the event, access to meeting areas, and entry to exclusive evening networking parties.   All of this is included with the general pass, which is on sale now at the Casino Beats Malta 2020 website.
