Gioconews.it analyzes the trend of Italian casinos in the past month: revenue is growing in all of them.
Another positive month, in two cases even "strongly" positive, for the collections of Italian casinos. Certainly, Sanremo, Saint Vincent and Venice have not intercepted, or only to a limited extent, the customers “abandoned” by the Casino Campione d'Italia since July, the 27th, 2018, and which have mainly turned to the Ticino gambling houses, but their balance with respect to the same month of the past year (the first in which the Campione structure was closed) is growing, and even, in two cases, with double figures. The usual analysis of Gioconews.it starts from the Casino that has had the best trend, this time the Sanremo one.
SANREMO - The era of the new Board of Directors of the Casino of Sanremo, led by the president Adriano Battistotti, appointed in the days by the partner, that is the Municipality, really starts in the best way. The new board of directors "inherits" an excellent trend as regards August. Gaming revenue amounted to €5,717,962, or 16.76 percent more than in the same month last year. On the other hand, entrances are slightly decreasing: they were 24,792, that is 1.14 percent less.
Going into the details of the data, we must record the excellent en plein of positive signs. The queens of the casino (indeed, of the casinos, given that they command everywhere) have collected €4,477,723, 8,57 percent more, and all the other games are also good, in some cases even beyond the overall average. French roulette grows by 58.78 percent (€307.940), while the English roulette of 29.80 percent (€236.210), poker cash by 70.31 percent (€175.787) and tournament poker by 70.58 percent (€43.560). The increase of black jack is of 2.60 percent (€130.540) and that of punto banco is even of 131 percent (€325.324). Finally, the sic bo, introduced at the beginning of August, collected €20,876.
In the first eight months of the year, the Casino collected €31,131,025, 5.30 percent more than in the same period of 2018. In the non-solar year, and which therefore ended in August 2019, the total amount is of €44,436,491, an increase of 2.69 percent compared to the immediately preceding twelve months.
SAINT VINCENT - For once, Saint Vincent needs to accept the second place. But what a second place! The month ends at the Saint Vincent Resort & Casino, with a gaming revenue of €6,519,985, 14.36 percent more than in 2018 (plus €818,816) and with entrances of 38,078, broadly balanced on the same month of 2018 (more than 1.03 percent).
Analyzing the data in detail, tables end the month as a whole with a positive result of 24.87 percent (plus €546.902 percent). Among the games, chemin de fer (minus 28.73 percent), French roulette (minus 20.70 percent), fairoulette (minus 16.97 percent), ultimate poker (minus 22.63 percent) and trente et quarante (minus 4.03 percent) have a negative sign. Punto banco (plus 174.61 percent), craps (plus 457.92 percent), Saint Vincent poker (plus 149.46 percent), American roulette (plus 92.48 percent), and black jack (plus 6.91) have a positive sign. Slot machines collect €3,773,912 (plus 7.76 percent) in the month, compared with the same month in 2018, in absolute terms, €271,914 more.
Collections on an annual basis are of €41,204,418 (plus 9.51 percent), compared to the first eight months of 2018, demonstrating that the recovery is really solid. In the period from September 2018 to August 2019, the Valdostana gaming house, on the other hand, records revenue of €61,418,422, 8.69 percent more than in the previous twelve months.
VENICE - The Casino di Venezia is at the third place, ending the month with a positive sign. Venice ends August, the month in which the Ca' Noghera office celebrated its first twenty years, with increased revenue, compared to the same month of 2018. In total, they amounted to €9,120,250, 2.72 percent more than 2018, a result which was favored by the slots, which collected €5,152,888, 6.23 percent more.
As for the individual tables, roulettes are in decline: the French one collects €314.838, 58.34 percent less, while the fair roulette drops by 3.34 percent and stops at €1.319.102. Chemin de fer decreases too: the revenue of August is of €245,315, 14.49 percent less, and so is the black jack: €518,703, 0.56 percent less. On the other hand, the excellent performance of the punto banco was to be recorded, with €1,362,527 (42.43 percent more) and that, good as well, of poker cash: €206,876, 46,21 percent more.
Finally, the entrances: they were 68,030, which is 2.84 percent less than a year ago.
From January to August 2019, the two seats of the gaming house collected on the whole 63,381,222, a drop of 2.36 percent compared to the first eight months of 2018. The trend, that is the count of revenue in the twelve months not coinciding with the calendar year, brings the Casino to €96,053,657, for an infinitesimal drop: minus 0.07 percent.
