Casinos and games, who goes up and who goes down in March

Gioconews.it analyzes the trend of Italian casinos last month: collection growing for all three.

Crazy March, but not so much for the Italian casinos, which all three end it, with a positive sign. It is difficult to attribute the result to the Campione effect, that is the closig of the fourth casino, in July last year by now: above all, the Ticino gambling houses have benefited from a very serious event occured to the Italian enclave overlooking the Lugano lake, that brought the entire economy to its knees. As usual, the analysis of Gioconews.it starts from the Casino with the best performance in the last month. SANREMO - The Casino of Sanremo is at the first place, with €3.507.011 in March, thus registering a growth of 7.37 percent compared to the same month of the past year. Entrances are not so good: they were 14,940, which is 5.32 percent less than in 2018. Slots contribute to the good overall performance and, with their €2,860,204 collected, even grow by 9.01 percent. French roulette is good too, ending at more than 2.82 percent (€ 218,237), while fair roulette loses 3.83 percent and stops at €121,117. Among the other games, poker cash declines (€29.271, minus 62.44 percent) and tournaments too (€48.581, minus 22.94 percent), while black jack is growing (11.83 percent, €93.081) and also punto banco obtains a good result (69.86 percent, €137.418 ). With the good result of March, annual revenue reaches €10,933,079, that is 3.81 percent more than in the first quarter of 2018. In the twelve months not coinciding with the calendar year, the balance is instead of €43.338 .038 and this time the sign is negative: minus 1.53 percent, compared to the twelve previous months. SAINT VINCENT - The positive period of the Valle d'Aosta's gaming house continues. The month of March 2019, during which the arrangement with creditors was admitted and it will be examined by creditors next July, ends with a gaming collection of €5,053,073 at the Saint Vincent Resort & Casino, plus 4.12 percent compared to to 2018 (plus €199,957) and with entries up on the same month in 2018 (plus 8.12 percent). Tables end the month as a whole with minus 6.23 percent (minus €130.627,00). Among games, chemin de fer (minus 27.92 percent), texas hold'em poker (minus 68.13 percent), black jack (minus 32.58 percent), fair roulette (minus 33,63 percent) and punto banco (minus 68.65 percent) have a negative sign. French roulette (plus 508.25 percent), craps (plus 244.94 percent), poker ultimate (plus 14.62 percent), trente et quarante (plus 61.27 percent), Saint Vincent poker (plus 12.36 percent) and American roulette (plus 58.89 percent) have had a positive sign. Slot machines collect €3,086,526.00 in the month (plus 12 percent), compared to 2018 (plus €330,583). Therefore, 2019 seems to have started well for the Valle d'Aosta's gaming house: collections were of €14.896.891 in the first quarter of the year, with a growth of 7.08 percent compared to 2018. From April 2018 to March 2019, on the other hand, collections amounted to €58,823,690, with a positive variation of 2.97 percentage points. VENEZIA - The lagoon gaming house is at the third place, still dealing with a difficult union negotiation for the new corporate labor contract. After two difficult months, revenue of the Casino di Venezia starts to grow again, even sligtly. In March, the two locations, Ca' Vendramin Calergi and Ca' Noghera, collected €8,789,839 on the whole, or 0.22 percent more than in the same month last year. We must record instead the excellent performance of slots: €5,090,304, or 7.95 percent more, and also entrances are growing. They were 63,917, or 8.87 percent more than in March 2018. Going into the details of the data, we must note the excellent performance of French roulette, collecting €721,371, 171.44 percent more, while fair roulette decreases of 17.72 percent and stops at €1,299,799. Chemin de fer is also decreasing: minus 18.49 percent, for collections of €482.021, as well as the punto banco, which loses 60.10 percent and collects €377.231. On the contrary, cash poker is good: €182.108, 66.81 percent more, as well as black jack: €637.004 collected, with a positive sign of 13.07 percent. The stable, rather slightly increasing result, brings the total of revenue to €24,000,860 in the first quarter, with a decrease of 6.09 percent. revenue of the twelve non-solar months, €96,029,596, remains positive, plus 2.63 percent.
