The European Lotteries celebrates its 20th consecutive successful Marketing gathering in London

“What’s New? What’s Hot? What’s Not?” for the Lotteries’ sector in today’s multi-channel marketing trends and technologies?

This was the main focus that drove a day and a half of debates and presentations at the 20th Marketing seminar organised by the European Lotteries (EL) in collaboration with the World Lotteries Association and hosted once again in London, this year by Camelot Group. Over 170 marketing professionals from around the world gathered together in what over the last 20 years became one of the most attended and highly appreciated seminars in the sector. “New marketing trends come to the surface year by year. Some of them stay to reshape the industry and some fade away quickly”, says Hansjörg Höltkemeier, President of the European Lotteries, who then explains that “the purpose of this year’s Seminar was to give our Lottery Members the tools needed to help them distinguish between the lasting trends and the ones that are bound to fade”. Over the years this event has proved to be not only a great opportunity for networking among lotteries professionals, but as well a very important moment of reflection upon the latest and most relevant business cases and lessons-to-be-learnt from inside and outside the lotteries sector itself. Arjan van ‘t Veer, Secretary General of The European Lotteries comments: “The strength of our Association lays on the solid values at the core of the companies we are proud to represent and with this 20th Marketing seminar I believe we did our part in helping them to stay ahead of the game, to future proof their lotteries in this ever-changing marketing landscape”.
