This year’s show will feature exciting products from more than 200 represented manufacturers, unsurpassed networking and its largest ever seminar and educational programme.

  From 15th-17th January 2019 Eag International & Vae 2019 will be celebrating 10 years of showcasing the very latest products and ideas to amusements and leisure operators from around the globe. This year’s show will feature exciting products from more than 200 represented manufacturers, unsurpassed networking and its largest ever seminar and educational programme. In 10 years the show has changed considerably, reflecting step changes in out of home leisure and entertainment. Probably the most visible development is the way in which the industry has embraced technology to improve business efficiency and to ward off stiff competition for the leisure spend.   Show Organiser Karen Cooke explains, “Love it or hate it, technology is transforming the way in which we do business and our 10th Anniversary show will be marked by a focus on technology, by exhibitors and at the enlarged Seminar and Education programme that we’ve assembled for the event. Of course, the show means many thinks to many people, but we hope that by visiting exhibitor stands and attending seminars, many visitors will increase their understanding of the impact of technology and the potential it has for leisure operations both large and small,” anticipated Karen.   Sega Amusements International has supported Eag International with a huge presence, from the very first show. The company’s Justin Burke confirmed that the products they will be showcasing reflect the astonishing pace of development. “Sega’s 5D House Of The Dead Scarlet Dawn is a perfect example of technological advances in the Video world. Through the use of the ‘Unreal Engine 4’ cutting-edge game graphics technology, we’ve delivered the most sophisticated graphics ever seen on a video arcade game,” revealed Justin.   Eag international & Vae continues to attract new exhibitors and of those exhibiting for the first time, over 80 percent will be showcasing a diverse range of hi-tech products and services for the Operator.   First-time exhibitors include Vex solutions, presenting a unique immersive attraction based on a small footprint and transporting players into another world through the use of VR and special effects such as wind, heat, vibration and even smell!   Also premiering will be Marston’s Telecoms, formed in 2008 and originally providing services to brewer and restaurant operator Marston’s Plc. After successfully converting Marston’s managed estate and telephone infrastructure, Marston’s Telecoms has evolved with technology, now offering Broadband, Ethernet, Hosted VoIP, Private Wans, Carrier Services and Managed Wi-Fi to business customers, all delivered over their own carrier-grade Mpls network.   Still in the domain of communications Kashing Ltd, already a firm favourite with attraction operatorswill be showcasing a payment platform for online, offline and mobile transactions, featuring a host of tools and technology to improve business efficiency and customer relationships.   Also making its Eag & Vae debut, will be Planday, presenting a very intelligent solution to the headache of staff rostering.
