Sand (Dga): ‘Regulators find solutions to provide a safe and fair gaming for players’

Copenaghen - "We are delighted and extremely proud to host this annual event, uniting regulators but also industry representiatives and their advisors from all over the world for four days full of opportunities to meet and greet, be inspired by the many excellent speakers and establish new contacts'.

"We have - said Brigitte Sand (director Danish Gambling Authority) all made an effort to be part of this special event. Some have travelled for a full day to be here. Thank you for that. When we greet each other at the registration desk or the welcome reception, or when we all laugh at the same jokes from the speakers, this is when magin happens. Regardless of our background and different positions in the gaming world, we enjoy meeting both old friends, business contacts and potential new contacts. We come from many different cultures, we deal with different challenges, but again magic happens when we agree on – we all strive to find the best solutions to provide a safe and fair environment for players and acceptable solutions ofr legale gambling providers. This year we will present the first global gambling survey of its kind – IAGR members have graciously shared a wide range of information about their respective regulation and gambling markets and we can all be proud taking this important step towards hopefully a deeper insight and inspiration towards maybe some standards or closer cooperation where it would make sense. The title of this year conference – Let us make grat regulation – togheter – aims at including eveyone present at this conference in a shared goal – improving regulatory solutions worldwide. This conference, the ones in the past and those to come are only possible due to alla members of Iagr believing in the value of openness and willingness to share experiences.
