Casino and games, who goes up and who goes down in February 2017

Gioconews.it analyzes the trend of four italian casinos in the past month: positive Campione and Sanremo, minus sign for Venezia and Saint Vincent.

The Italian casino are divided in February: Campione and Sanremo obtain a positive result, while Venezia and Saint Vincent record a double-digit decline. The usual monthly analysis of Gioconews.it starts, as usual and as it must, from the casino which is at the first place of the podium.   CAMPIONE - Despite months of only 28 days compared to the leap year 2016, and despite many customer wins, the Casino di Campione obtains a good result in February. Land-based gaming revenue is in fact of €6,859,111, as much as 11.83 percent more than last year. Obviously, many games record a plus sign: French roulette, collecting €253,792 (583,394 more than the negative balance of 2015), but also punto banco, up of 113.89 percent, and slot machines as well, queens of revenue with €5,311,440 and a growth of 3.91 percent. On the contrary, entrances decrease, which are slightly lower than 50 thousand units: 49,213 to be precise, down of 6.35 percent. In the first two months of the year, the casino collected €15,019,130, 6.24 percent more than the same period in 2016. We also have to mention revenue obtained in the last twelve months (thus not coincident with the calendar year): for the Casino di Campione they amounted to €93,706,110, practically stable (minus 0.10 percent) compared to the period March 2015-February 2016.   SANREMO - Small is beautiful at the Casino di Sanremo which, although having gaming volumes and revenue lower than other casinos, not only has budgetary accounts always in order, but also growing revenue in February. The month in fact ends with a positive 5 percent, corresponding to revenue of €4,049,315. Even in the case of the Casino di Sanremo, many games give a positive trend: French roulette increases by 40.78 percent at now €704,240, fair variation is positive of 26.41 percent and collects €139,020. Very good punto banco as well, with €110,210 collected (38,13 percent more than last year) and slots, latest for exposure but not for importance, collect €2.892.22, ie 1,61 percent more. In the first two months of 2017, revenue increases of €7,923,679, 0.95 percent less compared to the same period of 2016. February was therefore very useful to recover and practically eliminate the negative result of January. Let's see revenue of last twelve months: the result is of €44,894,345, 2.04 percent less. VENICE - Third place, but negative sign for the Casino di Venezia, waiting for a relaunch based on a business plan where on March, the 6th negotiations between the company, unions and properties will start. The two locations of the Casino collect in February €6.690.876, ie 10,84 percent less. Entrances are good, with the only positive sign of the four casinos (plus 5.77 percent), but different games record a minus sign, some subject of a trial that has, however, ended in December of last year. French roulette collects €455,429, 19.21 percent less, English roulette 1,158,099, 19.75 percent less. Minus sign for chemin de fer too, decreasing of 17.03 percent with its €408,600 collected, and also punto banco decreases, 43,62 percent, ending February with revenue of €159,846. Sharp decline also for slots, collecting €3,662,240, 8.6 percent less. There are also games with a positive sign: poker cash with its €145,775, for example, 33.25 percent more than last year, or even blackjack: revenue of 677,632, 11,95 the positive percentage change. In the first two months of the year the casino collected €15,549,392, 10.13 percent less, while in the previous twelve months €93,610,605, 1.10 percento less. In January 2017, revenue of the last twelve months was positive, although only 0.22 percent.     SAINT VINCENT - Once again at the last position the Saint Vincent Resort & Casino, cashing €4,385,183 in February, 17.17 percent less. The decline of slot machines is particularly pronounced, collecting €2,143,554, 21.37 percent less, and that of French roulette, decreasing by 76.7 percent collecting 259,220. However, there are positive signs, for example fair roulette, which grows by 131.2 percent with revenue of €374 332, or even chemin de fer, with €224,625 collected, even 164.2 percent more. The disappointing result of February 2017 compared to the same month in 2016 (but that would be much less compared to 2015), increases the counter of annual revenue at €9,487,467, 20.65 percent less than in the first two months of 2016. In the previous twelve months, the Valle D'Aosta's gaming house collected €57,128,784, 11.54 percent less. The property, dealing with a political crisis , culminating with the resignation of seven council members, should consider these results on the need to search, if not find, for immediate solutions.
