Usa: coin op operators against money changement
What gaming could be without Quarter? This is the question from coin op operators after the choice of Us Congress, who has given the Us Mint the job of finding ways to make coins more efficiently. For that, the Mint is seeking public comments on researching alternative metallic content.

The US trade association's Aama think that this radical changement could be translated in a re-equipping of a million coin-operated amusement machines and about the same number of gambling and other leisure machines, with fresh coin-accepting equipment, for a special cost that run into half a billion dollars. For that the Association encouraging members to write to the Mint to warn them of a potential burden a change in coins would cost businesses and customers: the deadline for responses is June 6.
