Ice 2014: success for Betradar

Erik Lorenz, Managing Director of Sales, drew many positives from last week’s ICE Totally Gaming 2014: “As a leading provider for sports betting and gaming solutions, the event was perfect for us to meet with great people from across the industry and to showcase our new and superior products. One big trend is still live betting, where we have by far the biggest offer and we have more and more clients signing up for our comprehensive live betting solutions. Our other products have also enjoyed great popularity, such as the exciting Live Channel with live sports transmissions for retail outlets or our highly entertaining and revenuedriving virtual gaming solutions.”
On a state-of-the-art, two-storey stand, featuring around 300 m² of exhibition space, including a lounge area, Betradar surprised the trade visitors from the gaming industry with not just one but several new innovations. One highlight, which was presented on several terminals, is the new Betting Software – a fully automated turnkey-solution that simplifies the daily businesses of retail betting operators. Based on the full integration of Betradar's pre-match and live betting offers, in combination with the exciting Gaming Solutions and Live Channel, it provides retail customers everything needed to offer their clients a new level of betting and gaming experience.
Furthermore, Betradar’s entertaining and revenue-driving virtual gaming solutions were a real crowd-puller. The new gaming area had been specially designed and presented visitors with interactive information about Betradar’s revamped Virtual Football League, which now provides an even more authentic and entertaining experience. A further highlight that drew visitor’s attention was Betradar’s latest virtual sports development – Virtual Dog Racing. Combining state-of-the-art motion capture technology with outstanding 3D graphics, it provides a 24/7/365 real-money fun betting experience on virtual dog races. During 2013, Betradar has further extended its Live Betting Services and now also provides comprehensive live data for Darts, Snooker and Rugby Union. As the Official Data Partner of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), the absolute highlight in those whirlwind few days at Betradar’s stand was the visit by 16-Time Darts World Champion Phil “The Power” Taylor. After a clients’ competition, the best three players got the chance to compete against “The Power”. Supported by gravel-voiced legend Russ “The Voice” Bray, the finalists tried everything to beat the champion. At the end it happened, which no one had expected. Scott “The Alchemist” MacKenzie, an investor relations manager and professional darts player from Hong Kong, did successfully prevail against Phil “The Power” Taylor and won the challenge.
