Gtech expands game library for distributed markets

GTECH is excited to be offering to its distributed customers a multiple vendor, multi-player Mystery Progressive, which is its first progressive running on the Player Window. The Player Window technology allows customers to provide a single, jurisdiction-wide progressive product on all machines, regardless of vendor. The Vault Breaker game provides up to three bonus levels supporting local, regional, and jurisdictional Wide Area Progressive jackpots.

Another debut is the first PopCap game for Video Lottery Terminal (Vlt) customers on the prodiGi Vu™ cabinet: Bejeweled. With a copy of Bejeweled, PopCap’s flagship title, purchased somewhere in the world every 4.7 seconds, players will instantly recognize this global bestseller in its Vlt game form. Gtech now offers PopCap titles in all market segments: North American and International Casino, Interactive, and Vlt Lottery.

On the systems side, Gtech will be showcasing a number of enhanced Game to System® (G2S®) services for its Intelligen central system. Services released this year include the Player Services Manager (PSM), as well as the Player User Interface (Pui), which offers new communications windows across all manufacturers’ Vlts. This provides a consistent player experience and new innovative, player-driven content, as well as introduces the opportunity to bring new enhanced player services to market, including GTECH’s new Responsible Gaming and Player Loyalty and Rewards services.

The show includes the launch of new game sets for Operator markets. GTECH is launching its second game set in Illinois, including Penny and Pick-a-Prize games. Gtech is also pleased to announce that Vielee Gaming Distributors will be their exclusive distributor for the state of Louisiana. New game line-ups have also been created for new Operator markets Louisiana and West Virginia.

On June 3, 2013, Spielo International’s parent company, Lottomatica Group, changed its name to Gtech S.p.A. As part of this change, the company’s formerly separate business units, including SPIELO International, are being brought together under the GTECH corporate brand name to become a unified, customer-facing structure. With this realignment, the company is taking the final steps to effectively deliver comprehensive gaming solutions that meet their customers’ evolving requirements. G2E 2013 marks the first time Spielo will appear as a product brand under the new Gtech corporate brand.

These games are only a sample of Gtech’s full complement of cabinets, games, systems, and software, including products for both land-based and iGaming operations. Visit Booth 1265 at G2E 2013 to see much more, and find out how Gtech is bringing gaming to life.
