SPIELO G2 launches CSI: Crime Scene InvestigationTM

05 February 2013 - 09:49

SPIELO G2 has ensured an unforgettable launch for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, its electrifying new online slot game under license by CBS Consumer Products, by creating a spoof video called ‘Murder at ICE’. Based on the U.S. drama series, one of the world’s most popular television programmes, Murder at ICE invites the industry to watch a series of clips as they discover a body has been found at ICE – that of ‘Michael Lyceum’, the fictional character played by publisher Michael Caselli.

Viewers must decide who killed Mr Lyceum – and have a chance to win a trip for two to Hollywood, including a visit to the set of CSI, if they vote correctly.

There are five suspects: ‘Catherine Clarion’ (Kate Chambers, Clarion Events portfolio director); ‘Mr Big’ (Simon Burridge, former Virgin Games CEO); ‘Susie St Louis’ (Sue Schneider, leading eGaming expert); ‘Jim E. Pageant’ (James Bennett, eGaming Review editor); and ‘Alexi Abercrombie’ (Alex Pratt, iGaming Business head of business).

The perpetrator will be unveiled on Wednesday 6 February, during Day Two of ICE, at the SPIELO G2 stand (S7 150).

“Bringing together some of the industry’s biggest names to collaborate on Murder at ICE made this a hugely ambitious project. Nothing like it has been done before, but we feel the results will speak for themselves,” said William Scott, VP Commercial & Operations at SPIELO G2. “As well as a memorable way to launch CSI, this concept demonstrates the great importance that our company places on constantly innovating and making our products enjoyable.”
