Amaya Gaming Group Inc.   today announced that ACEP Interactive, LLC, the interactive gaming arm of American Casino & Entertainment Properties LLC (ACEP), has chosen Amaya’s Ongame to power its online poker offering acePLAYpoker.com, which was launched February 12, 2013. ACEP is the parent company of the iconic Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower located on the Las Vegas Strip, the two Arizona Charlie’s Hotels & Casinos in Las Vegas, and Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada.

The Nevada Gaming Commission approved ACEP as an interactive gaming operator on September 20, 2012, which paves the way for a launch of real money online poker as soon as it is possible.

“The poker solution from Amaya’s Ongame enables us to quickly establish a quality free to play poker website,” said American Casino & Entertainment Properties’ Chief Executive Officer Frank Riolo. “We are aiming to be among the first-movers within iGaming in the United States. Our launch of acePLAYpoker.com will help strengthen our brands and prepare us for real money online poker, which we will launch when it is legally possible.”

Nevada is among the first states in the U.S. to regulate poker and is poised to be the first state where real money online poker will be launched.

“Ongame’s unique track record within regulated markets around the world has proven essential for the success we are experiencing in the U.S.,” said David Baazov, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amaya Gaming Group. “Partnering with some of the world’s premier casino brands like the iconic Stratosphere, Arizona Charlie’s and Aquarius are great steps on a very exciting journey in the regulated U.S..”
