Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino-management, interactive applications, and networked and server-based systems for the global gaming industry, and ACEP Interactive, LLC, the iGaming arm of American Casino & Entertainment Properties, LLC (ACEP), today announced an agreement for Bally to provide its iGaming platform to ACEP and its properties, Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, Aquarius Resort and Casino, and the two Arizona Charlie’s properties.

“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with a premier gaming operation and a globally recognized brand like the Stratosphere,” said Bally Technologies’ Vice President of Business Development John Connelly. “What makes this even more significant is the fact that ACEP is located in Nevada, one of the only approved and regulated markets within the United States.”

The Nevada Gaming Commission approved ACEP Interactive, LLC as an interactive gaming operator on Sept. 20, 2012.

“We are pleased to be involved in the leading edge of this emerging segment in the U.S.,” said American Casino & Entertainment Properties’ Chief Executive Officer Frank Riolo. “This partnership with Bally will allow us to establish a play-for-free poker site by the end of the year, which we plan to use to further enhance our brands and enable us to be poised to launch a real money poker site at such a time as permitted.”

Bally’s iGaming platform’s open architecture enables operators to choose from best-in-class content from a multitude of providers. Additionally, content is hosted, limiting the infrastructure required. The iGaming platform is also designed for mobile integration and is ready to accommodate online gaming beyond poker, such as casino table games, video slots, and sports betting.

Earlier this year, Bally Technologies became the first company licensed in the United States as an interactive gaming system manufacturer and service provider.

“Our iGaming platform delivers a host of advantages to ACEP,” Connelly said. “With integration to their core casino-management systems, they will ultimately have the ability to conduct marketing, bonusing, data tracking and collection seamlessly, enabling the casino to market to their players in a way that has never been possible before. Players can play the same games, receive the same bonuses, offers, and earn the same points on the casino floor, at home, or on the move. We are committed to offering our casino customers a single view of the player.”
