Lottomatica Group: Gtech enters into five-year contract extension with finnish lottery Veikkaus Oy

Lottomatica Group S.p.A. announced that its subsidiary GTECH Corporation has signed a five-year contract extension that brings the partnership with Veikkaus Oy, the operator of the Finnish National Lottery, through November 2018.  Under the extension agreement, GTECH will provide operational and professional services to support Veikkaus in its continued development of new games and sales channels. GTECH expects to receive revenues in the range of €60 million – €70 million over the extension period, beginning in the first quarter of 2013. Veikkaus has been a valued GTECH customer since 1989. “GTECH is listening to, and acting upon, the ever-changing market needs of its customers in order to better understand and address the unique requirements of the lottery industry,” said GTECH President and CEO Jaymin B.
