Global launches Daily Fantasy Sports network in Italy with multiple gaming operators

Global Daily Fantasy Sports Inc. (“Global” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: DFS) is pleased to announce the launch of its Italian facing DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) network with Lottomatica Scommesse S.r.l. (Lottomatica). The provision of Global’s DFS product to the DFS Network with Lottomatica acting as the network head enables Italian gaming operators to join the network and pool their user databases together to create much larger prize pool offerings and increase contest fill-rate. Lottomatica DFS network has access to a registered user database that exceeds 30 million players. In 2017, Lottomatica represented approximately 6% of the Italian online sports betting market1 . In 2017, it is estimated that Italy have generated approximately €1.4 billion euros in online gambling revenues with online sports betting representing €500 million euros or 36% of the total revenue and a further increase of 43% in online sports betting from 2016.
