Casino and games, who goes up and who goes down in March 2017

Gioconews.it analyzes the trend of four Italian casinos in March: revenue has a positive sign only for Campione d'Italia.

A fluctuating March once again, as regards the revenue of Italian casinos, ending the month with a minus sign in three out of four cases. The usual analysis of Gioconews.it begins, as usual, from the casino with the best trend, that is to say the one of Campione d'Italia, CAMPIONE D'ITALIA - The gaming house ended March with revenue amounting to €8,686,225, 7.38 percent more than last year, while entrances amounted to 60,240 units, grown of 0.49 percent. We must report the good performance of slot machines, collecting €5,665,446, 3.78 percent more, but there are many games with a positive sign, even with a smaller percentage weight on revenue: French roulette (plus 28,28 percent), trente et quarante (plus 53.75 percent), tournament poker (plus 94.78 percent) and not in tournament poker (plus 58.56 percent). Blackjack is at plus 25.56 percent while punto banco ends with plus 11,71 percent. Painful points, but not too much given the final result, fair roulette, which loses 83.43 percent, and even craps, with a negative sign of 69.97. In the first quarter the casino collected €23,705,356.53, 6.55 percent more than the same period of 2016, while in the last twelve months (not consistent with the calendar year) the result is €94,302.744,59, i.e. minus 0.15 percent. SANREMO – The Casino di Sanremo is at the second place, albeit with a negative sign of 3.05 percent, penalized, in March, by the trend in the last days of the month. In total, it collected € 3,387,450.92. Roulettes are good, both French roulette (€389.405, 15.40 percent more) and fair roulette, with €75,740 euro collected. However, other games are suffering, such as slots, collecting € 2,597,444, 7.11 percent less, and even blackjack, with a negative sign of 41 percent. Sudden slowdown for entrances too, stopping at 15,848 units, 17.87 percent less. In the first quarter of the year, the Casinò di Sanremo collected a total of €11.311.090,15, 1.59 percent less than in the same period of the past year, while in the twelve months of the not calendar year, revenues are of €44,787,668.89 euro, 2.69 percent less than the previous not calendar year. VENICE - March lower than expected for the Casino di Venezia, where the negotiation with the unions on the industrial plan presented by company and properties is still ongoing. The two locations totally collect €7,032,185.74, 11,74 percent less than a year ago. But the attendances are growing: 65,435 throughout, i.e. 4.28 percent more. There are many negative signs next to single games: that of slots is heavy, which with €4,012,879.56 collected lose 13.79 percent, but also French roulette has a very negative sign, ending even at minus €56,838. Other games have a better performance: fair roulette for example collects €1,226,671, 8.34 per cent more, and also chemin de fer collects €495,772, 17.27 percent more. In the first quarter of 2017 the casino collects €22,581,577, 10.64 percent less than last year, while in the twelve months ending in March, it stops at €92,675,538.60, with a negative balance of 1.47 percent. SAINT VINCENT - The Casino di Saint Vincent is again in last position. However, for it March was a month where its consolidation or relaunch has been decided,at least we hope so, appointing a new sole director and the green light of Palazzo Chigi to the law on financial restructuring of its management company. Waiting for the business plan, which should be ready by May, the 10th, we have a negative result in March: €4,641,209, i.e. 16,12 percent less, since it matches with th decrease of 13.07 percent of attendances, stopped at 29,540 units. Slots lose 16.12 percent, with €4,641,209 collected, but there are other games that have a negative sign: French Roulette (minus 52.16 percent) and American roulette (minus 69.55 percent), while craps decrease of 55.95 percent. However, positive games don't reverse the overall trend. However, we must note the excellent growth of chemin de fer, collecting €105,915 (96.69 percent more), and blackjack, growing by 91.14 percent with €515,755 collected. In the first quarter, the gaming house of Valle D'Aosta collects a total of €14,128,676, 19.22 percent compared to the same period of 2016. The revenue count in the period April 2016 - March 2017 amounted to €56,236,578, 14,71 percent less compared to the previous twelve months.
