Petralia (AdM): 'Cooperation to defeat illegality in gaming'

Berlin - "In order to achieve the objective of defeating illegality in gaming field, first of all we need the cooperation of all subjects involved in the market, starting from the operators. For this reason, ADM has reached over the time a series of cooperation agreements with the insiders and thanks to this operation we have been a strong surfacing of hidden gaming, that before was out of control". Daria Petralia, of the Agenzia delle dogane e dei monopoli's online gaming office says that, speaking at the Gioconews.it's international roundtable hosted by EiG Berlin, which is confronting the main regulators of the European markets. "Of course, in addition to this the administration has implemented a series of measures to defeat illegality, such as the inhibition of illegal gambling sites which now has more than six thousand illegal websites blocked by the regulator". Then, Petralia highlighted the numbers that characterize the market and the activity of the Italian Monopolies in terms of legal market development and fight of the illegal one, with the Italian model which, once again, proves to be an example to be followed in Europe. As for the international liquidity of online gaming, "we are working closely with France to develop an appropriate system and hopefully in a short time - Daria Petralia announced - we have already faced many technical issues and I am sure that this path can represent an important step forward in the international gaming regulation".
