New Slots e Vlts: on March 20 the new concessions, for Bplus 6 months of temporary prosecution

20 February 2013 - 12:14

Next March 20, as announced by GiocoNews.it in past days, the new concessions for the management of the telematic network of devices for fun and entertainment (AWPs and VLTs) will start and, therefore, there will be the suspension of previous concessions already existing. This means, therefore, that starting from that date the Bplus' concession will decay by virtue of the recent verdict of the State Council, which legitimized the exclusion to the tender for the renewal provided by the State Monopolies. The official announcement comes directly by the Agency of Monopolies which explains that there are twelve new dealers, nine of which are already in possession of the same concession that is expiring and three new subjects.

SIX MONTHS OF EXTRA MANAGEMENT FOR BPLUS - So Bplus Giocolegale Ltd was definitively excluded by the tender, for which the current concession will end at the above-mentioned date of March, 20. The exclusion measure has been contested, the application for precautionary suspension of the measure was rejected in both the courts of instance and they are waiting for the arrangement of the case about it.

In order to avoid any break of service which could seriously jeopardize the protection of the legal network and very high fiscal interests, the Customs and Monopolies Agency ordered that the Company will temporarily continue their activities and functions which are object of the expiring concession also after March 20, 2013, for a period that, given the nature of the action that led to the exclusion from the tender, can't anyway exceed six months. The exercise of these activities and functions, during the transitional period, will be made in such way to ensure the regular management of the service and the timely payment of taxes and other payments due by the Company and by all subjects contractually bound to it, under the strict control of the Customs and Monopolies Agency.

(And now, the employees of B Plus declair the state of permanent unrest: "We risk the dismissal")
