Dna Association Launches London 2013 Event

To be held on the 21st January 2013 – the one-day DNA London Seminar 2013 program is being finalized, the Dna Association holding a registration only seminar, the day before the EAG International Expo, and already there has been an enthusiastic take-up of the invitation to speak at what will be an influential gathering. The seminar will feature a keynote from industry visionary Randy White of White Hutchinson Leisure & Learning Group, followed by sessions on Interactive dark-ride and 4D/5D experiences, with sector leaders Alterface, Triotech, de Pinxi, and Simworx offering their perspectives on those fast growing markets.

In a session focused on augmented reality applications in leisure facilities, industry pioneer Total Immersion will present thought provoking observations on trends driving this sector. The DNA London event will also include a session on developing apps for parks and other leisure facilities, presented by Dogfi.sh Mobile, Hide & Seek, and Lo-Q. The application of innovative interactive animated characters, and motion controlled VR games in leisure facilities will be discussed by Animalive.

Interactive games in the hospitality market will be discussed by prominent intelligent surface systems developer Mindstorm Entertainment. New applications of and opportunities for mixed-reality games in leisure facilities will be highlighted by Six to Start, a leading developer of alternate reality games. Along with these sessions, planning is underway for other presentations, including one on next-generation developments impacting the amusement, attractions, and hospitality, leisure and retail sectors – full details to be confirmed.

The seminar will accommodate only 100 registered attendees, open to those from the amusement, attraction, and other facets of the digital entertainment sector – supported by a number of sponsors, associations, and seminar partners. This event will all take place in a special conference area within the EXCel London venue. The DNA event is supported by the UK Trade and Industries (UKTI) who will be sponsoring the refreshments at a seminar concluding industry mixer that evening. Attendees to the DNA London Seminar 2013 will also be invited to the EAG International Expo opening night party the following evening which is planned to be a major highlight of the show.
